One of my favorite sayings is: “It's the BASICS, friend!”

A while back, the Aberdeen Group, published their “Lean Benchmark Report.” Of close to 300 manufacturers that participate in this study, 90% reported that they are committed to Lean. I realize the word "BASICS " is not very sexy. But it is a very important thing for you to understand.
