Hi MBBP Subscribers,

As the end of the year nears, can you feel the pressure? A lot rides on the year end performance and it always requires the best of everyone if results are to exceed expectations. I can still remember the stress that the last quarter of the year would bring.

So, before you enter the twilight zone, let me help you launch into it with a new "Take-a-Break" story. It's one right off the Internet but it merits a pass along. Don't miss it... it appears below.

Have a nice day, and stay connected.

FBI Training

Two men and one woman were in their last phase of FBI training. The instructor for the day was explaining that one of the most important criteria for acceptance into the FBI ranks was that of loyalty to the Bureau and the unquestionable following of instructions.

The instructor told the trainees that today they would be subjected to a battery of test to prove their loyalty and their ability to follow instructions.

By the end of the day all three of the trainees had passed all but the last test and were feeling real good about their achievements.

The instructor told them that the last remaining test was a follow instructions challenge and that it was a “must pass” test. If you fail to follow instructions, you will flunk this test and your career in the FBI will be terminated.

The instructor then set the stage for the test, “I have here a loaded hand gun and in the next room tied to a chair is your spouse. Your instruction is to go into the room, shut the door, and shoot your spouse.”

The first man took the gun, went to the door, but could not open the door. He failed the test.

The second man took the gun, entered the room, shut the door, but two minutes later came out not being able to carry out the instructions. He also failed the test.

The woman took the gun, went into the room, and there was a shot, then five more shots. Then there was a lot of crashing sounds and then silence. When she came out of the room she said, "The gun was full of blanks so I had to smash the chair and beat him to death with one of the the legs."
