June 15, 2008 Hi MBBP Subscribers, Some of my long-term subscribers have asked me why I repeat some of my messages and "Take-a-Break" stories? That’s a good question that deserves a good answer. There are three reasons: First, some of my long-term subscribers may have missed the initial email. Second, Our turnover rate is 400+ subscribers per month and at that rate 4800+ subscribers will be seeing the repeated email subject for the first time. And finally, any email message or "Take-a-Break" story that I repeat is considered well worth a second read by older subscribers. So, now that we have answered the question, let's take a break from the stress of the day and enjoy a "repeat" take-a-break story. Have a nice day, and stay connected.
P.S. If you have a good story, feel free to email it to me at: If it's better than one of my reoccurring 12 stories, I'll replace one of them with yours. THE NEIL ARMSTRONG STORY On July 20th 1969, Neil Armstrong commander of the Apollo-11 Lunar Module step onto the moon and said, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." When reentering the module, he made a brief statement, "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky." When back in the USA many reporters kept asking him what was the significance of the Gorsky statement. Many speculated that it was a message to a Soviet astronaut. On July 5th, 1995, when once again he was asked the 26 year old question, he finally replied: In 1938 when I was a kid in a small Midwest town, we used to play baseball in a field in the back of my house. One day, one of my friends hit a ball over the fence into my neighbor's yard. I jumped the fence to retrieve the ball that had landed up against Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky's house. When I stooped to pick up the ball, I could hear Mrs. Gorsky yelling at Mr. Gorsky, "Sex! You say you want sex! You'll get sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"
